Buying Required Parts

After doing some research on what other components we needed, I decided to get 2 additional parts: the 6DOF 6-Axis Accelerometer Gyroscope Sensor MPU-6050 for the "Shaker", and a buzzer for the alarm clock sound.

I decided to get them from Continental Electronics at Sim Lim Tower as they provided soldering services for the accelerometer and I don't have a soldering iron ( ◠ __ ◠ )””

In hindsight I should have tested the buzzer before buying it, because after plugging it in for a test at home, I discovered that it made a truly loud and obnoxious sound, which should actually be good seeing that it is an alarm clock, but omg is it annoying @_@

I have yet to find code to use the accelerometer, but I will continue to look for it subsequently. Hopefully it should work well!

We do also need a PiCam module so we can implement the exercise trial, but we should be able to loan one from our lecturer, so I decided not to get one.

As it is the holidays right now, we will start working on the project again at a later date - probably around January next year! The plan is to get the "alarm clock" portion of the code down as soon as possible, so that will probably be coming next!
