Project: U&I | Sprint 2

So it's the end of sprint 2, as well as the hackathon that took place over the last 3 days! Honestly I was very surprised by what my team and I were capable of in just 2.5 days, but our team actually did the second best in the class for the sales pitch!

Sprint 2

This sprint, we continued to work on our prototype. Again, we assigned ourselves tasks to complete and updated our scrum board with the completed tasks, as well as the new ones.

As for myself, I worked on the front-end for 2 features — Timeslots, as well as Treat-A-Meal for store owners.

Thoughts

Again, work went swimmingly because of the dynamic of our team. But I must say, during the hackathon where we had hours of uninterrupted work, our productivity skyrocketed and we were able to get so much done.

I feel that one of the biggest reasons for this is we could finally focus on just the project and nothing else, at least for the 2.5 days during the hackathon. Through this hackathon, I think I've gotten a more accurate feel of what Agile really is, and what it's like to lead a team using this fast-paced and flexible development methodology.

Hoping the next sprint is as successful as this!
